On June 17, 2025, Professor Bernd Noche, Dean of the University of Duisburg-Essen（UDE）Institute of Urban Sustainable Development and Logistics, and Professor Wang Jian, Dean of the Zhuhai College of Beijing Institute of Technology, led a team to visit the School of Urban Transportation and Logistics for exchange and a seminar. Professor Franz Raps, Dean of the College, Associate Professor Ma Zhengwei, Vice Dean, Associate Professor Gong Lei, Director of Logistics Management, and several other teachers warmly welcomed the visiting team. Both sides exchanged and shared experiences in scientific research, discipline construction, talent cultivation, and talent exchange, and conducted in-depth discussions on future cooperation between the two sides.

Dean Franz warmly welcomed the visits of Dean Noche and Dean Wang Jian. After the self-introductions of both parties, Dean Franz introduced the university's educational positioning, basic overview of its characteristic models, and emphasized the characteristics and achievements of the college in discipline construction, talent cultivation, scientific research, and school enterprise cooperation. Professors Bernd Noche and Wang Jian respectively introduced the basic situation of the University of Duisburg-Essen（UDE）Institute of Urban Sustainable Development and Logistics and the Zhuhai College of Beijing Institute of Technology. Subsequently, both parties had in-depth exchanges on scientific research cooperation and talent exchange in the fields of transportation and logistics, fully exploring the needs of both parties and the possibility of cooperation.

Finally, the leaders of the college led the team to visit characteristic laboratories such as the SF Industrial College Training Base Laboratory, Automated Warehousing and Intelligent Sorting Laboratory, Racing Studio, Intelligent Connected Vehicle Laboratory, and Rail Transit Operation and Control Integration Laboratory. The visit and communication ended smoothly in a harmonious atmosphere.
