To further implement the important statements on education, science and technology, and talent development put forward at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of building a Transportation Power, deepen university-enterprise strategic cooperation and foster high-caliber application-oriented talents, as well as integrate campus culture with metro culture and improve metro service quality, the General Party Branch of the College of Urban Transportation and Logistics and the Party Committee of Passenger Transport Branch III of Shenzhen Metro Operation Group have launched a joint learning and practice station at Shenzhen Technology University Station on Metro Line 16 under the guidance of the "Party Building + University-Enterprise Cooperation" model. Led by students majoring in transportation, the two parties jointly build a new model for Party building cooperation between university and enterprise.
Centering on professional practice, supported by volunteer services and highlighted by campus culture, the station carries out all-round joint construction radiating from the station to the whole metro line and beyond. Leveraging the enterprise’s resource strengths, it effectively connects in-class teaching with extracurricular practice, and builds a real-scenario practice platform to improve students’ theoretical knowledge, practical capabilities and comprehensive qualities. The station also showcases the disciplinary strengths and social responsibility of Shenzhen Technology University, facilitates university-enterprise collaboration, cultivates innovative talents, and contributes to the economic, social and urban development of Shenzhen.
